Families, friends and neighbors attend free event to recognize Parkinson’s Awareness Month and support those living with Parkinson’s disease
Fresh off the heels of Edgemere becoming the only Certified Parkinson Disease Care community in Texas, more than 500 people attended Edgemere Senior Living‘s 1st Annual Walk for Parkinson’s on Saturday, April 12, 2025 in partnership with the Dallas Area Parkinson Society (DAPS). Emceed by CBS Texas anchor/reporter Nicole Nielsen, the free event brought families, friends and neighbors together to recognize Parkinson’s Awareness Month and build support for those living with Parkinson’s disease.
