Edgemere’s Health Services receives 4-Star Overall Rating
DALLAS (May 2026) — The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has awarded The Plaza at Edgemere a 5-Star rating for Short-Term Rehabilitation and a 4-Star CMS rating overall.
The CMS Five-Star Quality Rating System is a nationally recognized tool helping seniors and families compare nursing homes and rehabilitation providers across the country. Ratings are based on health inspections, staffing levels, and quality measures, with five stars representing “much above average” quality.
A 5-Star Short-Term Rehabilitation rating recognizes exceptional outcomes for residents recovering from surgery, illness, injury, or hospitalization who require skilled nursing care and therapy services before returning home. CMS evaluates measures such as successful discharge rates, hospital readmissions, improvement in mobility and daily functioning, and overall patient recovery outcomes.
