At midnight on July 13, 2023, Bay 9 Holdings LLC officially purchased Edgemere, and the new management company, Long Hill, acquired management on July 14, 2023. David Lawlor, president and CEO of Long Hill and United Methodist Homes, expressed his gratitude for the sale in a press release. “Everyone is both relieved and very excited for Edgemere to begin a new chapter.”
Under the new ownership and management, Edgemere’s senior living community will undergo beneficial changes, such as converting from an entrance-fee community to a rental community.
