Rex Smith

Rex is an accomplished HR director, always working to identify opportunities for improvement and solutions to enhance business processes. He is adept at long-term strategic planning, anticipating change initiatives, organizational efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. He also works closely with team members to create and implement best practices to foster a culture of diversity and inclusion. As our HR director, Rex’s goal is to better serve the Edgemere team members’ wants, needs, and requests. Prior to joining the industry, Rex spent four years in the U.S. Navy as an aviation storekeeper on the USS Nimitz aircraft carrier out of Norfolk, Virginia. He is married to Brittnee, a registered nurse. Together they have six children. He loves to read, fish, ride ATVs, study the stock market and attend church.
